Ethnicity/Race: Latinos represent 92% of the project area population, Blacks 4%, Whites 3%,  and Asians 1%. Income/Poverty: 45.8% of all households make less than $25,000 a year.  26.8% of persons are in poverty. Education/Language Spoken: 72.5% of all adults have less than a 12th grade education.  A majority (87.7%) of residents speak a non-English language at home.i
